Goyang Pearl Earrings - Blue

The blue Goyang pearl earrings are set with freshwater Mabe pearls measuring 11–12 mm in diameter. Mabe pearls grow directly on the inner wall of the shell, which gives them their characteristic domed button shape with a flat back – from the front they look like a smooth, glossy hemisphere. Across their large surface, the blue shade shifts between deeper and lighter tones depending on how the light falls, so every pair has its own character.

The pearls are AA quality – they have good to very good lustre, a mostly regular round outline and only minor natural blemishes on the surface, which are common in genuine pearls and confirm their natural origin.

The frame around the pearl is made of 925 sterling silver with a rhodium finish. Rhodium plating gives the silver a bright white shine that visually enhances the blue of the pearl, while protecting the metal from tarnishing quickly. The pearl hangs from a small round element, so it moves freely as you wear it. The earrings have a classic butterfly (push-back) fastening with a fine groove in the post, ensuring secure and comfortable wear with no risk of coming loose.
