The necklace is made of a nylon cord, 42 cm long, on which five freshwater pearls, sized 6–6.5 mm, in AA quality, move freely. AA-quality pearls have good to very good lustre, only minor natural surface imperfections, and are mostly round. All five pearls slide freely along the cord. The necklace is also available in coloured cord variants (black, blue, grey).
The fastening is a silver lobster clasp – a simple, reliable mechanism that opens and closes easily and keeps the necklace secure throughout the day.
