This pearl necklace is crafted from genuine Tahitian pearls, among the most sought-after saltwater pearls – prized above all for their dark colour. Originating from the lagoons of French Polynesia, their palette offers a fascinating play of shades – from anthracite grey through metallic green and peacock tones to deep black with subtle violet or blue overtones. Thanks to these unique traits, Tahitian pearls are cherished by connoisseurs of luxury jewelry worldwide.
Each Tahitian pearl in this necklace is one-of-a-kind – defined by natural lustre, distinct growth lines and an irregular shape. Prominent pearls of Grade D measure around 11 mm, giving them an authentic character and underscoring their exotic origin.
The necklace is hand-strung using the traditional knotting technique – tiny knots between pearls protect their surface and extend durability. In our workshop, we string it on extra-strong German high-performance threads. A 14k white-gold clasp with safety lock ensures secure and comfortable wear.
