This pendant is adorned with a single, carefully selected natural South Sea pearl measuring approximately 10–11.5 mm, in an oval shape. South Sea pearls are among the rarest and most valuable saltwater pearls in the world – they come from the warm waters around Indonesia, where they are cultivated in the Pinctada maxima oyster, the largest of all pearl-producing oysters. This is what allows South Sea pearls to grow significantly larger than other types of saltwater pearls.

This particular pearl has a rare blue hue with a silvery sheen – a completely natural colour, neither dyed nor treated, which occurs only exceptionally in South Sea pearls, making this pendant a truly unique piece. AA+ quality pearls represent an above-standard level within the AA class – they feature a very good to strong lustre and only minor natural surface imperfections, with a regular shape approaching AAA quality.

The pendant is set in 14K (585) white gold weighing 0.14 g – a precious metal that is durable, hypoallergenic, and requires minimal maintenance. The pendant is supplied without a chain as standard – you're free to choose one separately to suit your own taste.

You'll find it in our range of pearl pendants, alongside other pieces featuring South Sea pearls. Browse our full range of pearl jewellery and find out more about pearl authenticity in our certified jewellery category.

We supply a certificate of authenticity for the pearls with every pearl pendant.
